Welcome, students! |
Dear Students,
It's hard to believe it, but it really is ‘that time’ again - the beginning of a new school year. Welcome back! I hope that you have all enjoyed a restful and well deserved summer vacation!
I am pleased to officially welcome you to your very first year of secondary education (we'll talk more about this in class). My name is Ms. Reinert and I simply can’t wait to meet you!
In anticipation of the 1st day of school, I solemnly promise that I will NOT ask you to write the ever-dreaded 1st day of school essay: What I Did Over Summer Vacation. I would, however, like you to think of one interesting happening or event you experienced this summer, that you could briefly share with me so that I can better get to know - YOU!

Okay, I'll start. This summer I visited the
Myrtle Beach Safari & Wildlife Refuge in S. Carolina. While at the refuge, I had the oportunity to hold, feed & play with baby tigers. I also spent time with wolves, lynx eagles, chimps, elephants, and a LIGER! It was an incredible experience and a great summer but I'm looking forward to the fall now, and to spending time with all of you! |
Warmest regards,
Ms. C. Reinert
