How to Study for a Literary Exam

2. Ask yourself the following questions:
- How familiar am I with the plot of each of these stories?
- Can I identify and define all of the vocabulary words for this unit?
- Could I answer comprehension questions using Text Based Support?
- Am I able to identify the Protagonist, Antagonist & the Conflict in each story?
- Go to Quizlet.com & review all 3 vocabulary lists for this Short Story unit.
- Practice & play the vocabulary games until you get ALL of the answers correct.
- ALSO - Review your notes on Characterization, Plot Structure & Literary Elements
- Do you know the correct order in which to complete the sheet?
- Can you correctly & completely identify ALL the aspects of setting?
- Can you identify and explain the Inciting Incident for each story?
- Can you identify and explain the specific form of conflict in each story?
- Students are invited to begin and/or complete their exam during their lunch pds.
- Additional consecutive time is available before/after school.
